Closing the Gap Between Immigrants and the Right Help
We are building one transparent, verified marketplace where immigrants and immigration providers meet directly, without unverified agents, hidden fees or empty promises in between.
Why we started
Every year, thousands of people plan a new life in Canada: students, workers, families and newcomers. Many of them begin by searching for help, and too often they end up with unverified agents, unclear fees and promises nobody can keep.
At the same time, genuine consultants, lawyers, sponsors and employers find it hard to stand out from the noise and reach the people who actually need them.
Toned Toonie was built to close that gap. We verify everyone on the platform, show services and fees clearly, and let both sides talk to each other directly.
The right help should be easy to find, easy to trust, and never stand behind a middleman.
One verified marketplace, two sides
Seekers
Students, workers, families and newcomers looking for trustworthy immigration help and opportunities.
Toned Toonie
Verifies every member with a passport and government ID, and lists services, fees and locations clearly.
Providers
Consultants, lawyers, sponsors, employers and settlement services offering their expertise.
What we stand for
Verification first
Nobody uses the platform until their identity has been checked by our team. That applies to Seekers and Providers alike.
Transparency
Services, fees and locations are shown upfront, so decisions are based on facts rather than promises.
Direct connection
Seekers and Providers contact each other by WhatsApp, phone or email. We take no commission on the work.
Accessible to everyone
Free for the first 1,000 members each month and never more than a toonie to join.
Why "Toned Toonie"?
A toonie is Canada's two-dollar coin. It's our promise that finding trustworthy immigration help shouldn't cost a fortune: registration is free for most members, and never more than a toonie. Every member also picks a 5-digit lucky number that becomes their Member ID and enters them in our monthly giveaway.
Clear about our role
What we are
- A marketplace connecting immigrants with immigration providers
- A place where every member is identity-verified
- A direct line between Seekers and Providers
What we are not
- An immigration consultancy or law firm: we don't give immigration advice
- A government agency: applications are decided by IRCC
- A guarantee of any visa, permit or job outcome
Before paying for immigration advice in Canada, check that the Provider is a licensed RCIC with the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC), or a lawyer or paralegal in good standing with a provincial law society.
